Cape Fear Collision Warranties Our Repairs
This is a Limited Lifetime Warranty for work performed during repair by Cape Fear Collision. This Limited Lifetime Warranty is valid solely for the person to whom it is granted and whose name appears herein and on the original work order for as long as he or she owns the vehicle stated herein. This is a labor-only, fragmented, four-part, Limited Lifetime Warranty. Lifetime Warranty. Stipulations pertaining to each fragmented part are.
1. METALWORK: The Shop provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty for all metalwork, including welding and the application of materials utilized in making collision repairs against cracking. flaking. pitting or deterioration. Rust repair is excluded. The Shop will repair and repaint, excluding rust repairs. any metalwork warranted.
2. PAINT, STRIPES, AND DECALS: The Shop provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty for all paint-related priming and painting work against solvent blistering and peeling. hazing. and excessive loss of pigmentation. A Limited Lifetime Warranty is provided for the application and adhesion of decorative stripes and decals, excluding defects caused by extreme environmental conditions to which the vehicle may be exposed. The Shop will re-prime, re-paint, re-stripe or re-decal the specific section or sections of the vehicle warranted. Rust repair is excluded. Learn more.
3. MECHANICAL REPAIRS: The Shop provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty for mechanical repairs pertaining directly to original collision damage.
4. PARTS: The Shop provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty for parts on new parts installed by or at the Shop unless the manufacturer’s warranty is less or more. (Please Note: The Shop warranty does not exceed the manufacturers.)
5. SECTIONS 1-4: The Shop will repair, re-paint, or replace, solely at its option, any items in sections 1-4 when a claim is made while the present owner stated herein owns the vehicle unless caused by or damaged resulting from unreasonable use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle. This Limited Lifetime Warranty shall be null and void if any repair is altered, adjusted, or tampered with by any person not authorized by Cape Fear Collision. This warranty is not transferable.
6. SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED: A. Incidental costs, such as towing fees, car rental charges, travel expenses, or assemblies and components not explicitly covered by this Limited Lifetime Warranty, and consequential damages such as damage to other assemblies and components resulting from a defective part installed or repaired during the repair. B. Rust, surface rust, and damage caused by rusting of interior or exterior panels are not covered. This Limited Lifetime Warranty states all the warranties made by the Shop and d contains the only promises for which it will be responsible.
7. CUSTOMER’S OBLIGATIONS: To obtain the benefits of this warranty, the vehicle owner shall: A. Present the owner’s copy of this warranty document to the warrantor before requesting warranted repair, adjustment, or inspection, and B. Have any warranted repair, adjustment, or inspection made only at the premises of the warrantor during normal business hours. ALL WARRANTIES implied by law, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are now limited to the warranty period and shall expire at the end of such period.
